Luckily Christine has the same shoe size as me... and we exchanged shoes so we could walk to Millenia Walk to buy her Wonka Chocolate Bars...

Went to TP after that to watch Moon People, 15th Anniversary Musical

Synopsis

Moon People takes place in the contrasting backdrops of the unpretentious hearland and the glitzy world of high society. It addresses the universal need of people to be loved - regardless of age, social status, lifestyle or beliefs.

The story traces the turbulent relationship between a wealthy and famous gynaecologist, Dr Tan and his precocious Polytechnic daughter Claire, whose mother died while giving birth to her. Dr Tan is unable to come to terms with the passing of his wife while Claire blames him for causing her death.

Coming from a humble background, Dr Tan's aged mother refused to give up her simple life for an opulent one, widening the gap between mother and son, Overwhelmed by problems in his life, Dr Tan falls into a depression.

Claire falls in love with Colin Rodriguez who is sing a doctor for causing his mother to becomee paralyzed during an operation. Claire later finds out the doctor is her own father.

When he finds out Colin is dating his daughter, Dr Tan sends her to Edinburgh to do her medical degree, only to have Claire come across an old letter written by her late mother to her father when her later mother was herself a medical student there.

MOON PEOPLE's wondrously sentimental yet hilarious storyline promised to take you on an roller-coaster ride of heightened emotions and tension, laughter, heart-wrenching disappointments, and the bitter-sweet realisation of our human needs.

Indeed, MOON PEOPLE is a musical that is all about people!
