Lunch @ Kulai, Malaysia

Went back over the weekend to do my new IC that will be ready in 3 mths time i think...
Ate lunch... kway teow tng thats so different from sg's one... tink the main thing i like abt msia is the food...









My queue number is sooo far away... Anyway there was a notice telling ppl what time to be around according to their queue numbers... Apparently ours was at 2-3pm... So off we go for lunch and to do some work at home before heading back...

Those who never see my msia house before... here are some pics of it... Very messy cos my dad doesn't really clean up the house... haha... I din take pics of the bedrooms... Yes, my whole house got ALOT of books... really really alot... :)

:: Just some thoughts... ::

Xmas is coming...
Seems that time really flies again...
Its as if it was just yesterday that I was buying presents for friends...
And now its time to wreck my brains on presents again!!!

Worse of all, no year end bonus for me this time...
Prorated bonus for me has already been collected in June...
and probably spent long ago...
time to buy more lottery and secure a job....

Jobs seems harder to find in the recent months...
Cos first of all, its the holidays, and also more graduates have joined the job market...
Its also time to weigh the priority of job satisfaction, money satisfaction, and learning experiences...
Sometimes its not all about the money, it may also be the job experiences, or past experiences that seperates us into a different league...
True that I may have 3 years of frontline customer serivce, but do I really have the administative experience? Actually IMO, i don't... which is why I have come to see why the salary package offered to me is not in the range that I desire.
Also, for an administrative function, it isn't too hard and not too mind boggling... which is why the salary range is also lower than a highly competitive, high stress environment....

Oh well... Job LucK to all !!!

Late lunch with Christine in town again...
Shared Bangers n Mash n had Ice Mocha Latte...
Not bad, actually the main reason for ordering that drink was so that I could have the Ice cream!






And Finally.... I went to watch HARRY POTTER at night...

I realise that alot alot alot of scenes were toned down as compared to the book. A tad disappointed that they couldn't add in more scenes to make the movie closer to the book. Still, being a true blue Harry Potter fan... it was amazing...

Hermoine is really really getting pretty and sweet. Ron and Harry still looks the same... Except Ron seems to be chubbier... All the hype about Cho Chang, but she doesn't really have much scenes and she sounds a bit funny...

All in all, I loved the effects, the dragons, the magic and everything Harry Potter...

Not a bad ambience... & Chicken Cutlet...

Their food is really not bad....
Oh well, I think soon I will probably exhaust the entire menu cos I'm like becoming a regular there... whahah...

Todae was a rather packed day... and yes, i'm going to do a I did this I did that today post.

Let's start from the beginning,

Woke up early and went for an interview at Raffles Place (apparently they think my asking pay is too much but my bro said don't be conned)

Met HF for lunch at the market together with ODY n gf. Also finally bought some muffins home from some reputed yummy muffin shop. They taste not bad!

Went home, nua'ed for a while, went out to meet Christine to collect her David Tao tickets from Starhub redemption centre....
Went to FOS at meredien and bought 2 t shirts...
Ate dinner at tcc...
walked ard isetan, taka, wisma before finally going home...

A tad boring hor my life... hahah....

First stop... Merlion....
Wah.. the merlion is very huge... went for a video show and after that u get to walk to the top of the Merlion where u get a good view of sentosa...

After dyc arrives we eat dinner @ TM food court. My first time eating there after it has been renovated. Next, dessert at cartel...





Was supposed to go to Bugis to look at dresses...
Oh well, anyway i dun think this dress looks nice on me...

:: Tired, Hungry, Sleepy ::

Woken up by a job agent early in the morning... Yawnz...
Worse of all, I couldn't get back to sleep after that...
Decided to wake up, prepare to meet the agent at 2pm, interview at 3pm with the company. Its a large FI thats pretty intimidating, but it would certainly be a good experience...
The Financial controller got the tea lady to serve me coke n iced water and told me to take my pick. Wonderful view from the 39th floor at Singapore Land Tower...
After my 30 minute interview with 2 big ppl from that company was wrapped up, I went over to bugis to meet the girls... Linda wanted to get a bag to bring over to Aussie n buy some necessities as well as borrow my Camera...
Lucky Camera you.... get to travel all the way to Melbourne, Aussie while the owner stays behind in Singapore... *whine*


After realising that me n linda were hungry... we trooped to Mos Burger for our Lunch/Afternoon Tea...

Why is the lettuce on my Teriyaki Chicken Natsumi Burger so little???

*gasp* Both of us "eh, the basket not very clean de lehh..."
oops... its ok... now you know right? u see how the staff clean the basket already... the same cloth that cleans the table, cleans the basket...


All of us went to tampines... waited for dyc....
had dinner at Sakae Sushi...
Girls having just eaten afternoon tea just a couple of hours before... we were too full to eat a proper dinner...

Went to TP after that to watch Moon People, 15th Anniversary Musical

Synopsis

Moon People takes place in the contrasting backdrops of the unpretentious hearland and the glitzy world of high society. It addresses the universal need of people to be loved - regardless of age, social status, lifestyle or beliefs.

The story traces the turbulent relationship between a wealthy and famous gynaecologist, Dr Tan and his precocious Polytechnic daughter Claire, whose mother died while giving birth to her. Dr Tan is unable to come to terms with the passing of his wife while Claire blames him for causing her death.

Coming from a humble background, Dr Tan's aged mother refused to give up her simple life for an opulent one, widening the gap between mother and son, Overwhelmed by problems in his life, Dr Tan falls into a depression.

What happens when two girls are bored on a sunday afternoon???
We go out and have coffee & finger food...
What did we have? Iced Kahlua Latte, Ice Mon Cheri, House Tofu & Potato Wedges...
The tofu is... not bad! Probably cos the chili sauce is nice...
After gluing our butts to the sofa for about 2-3 hrs... We left for Bugis... to go where?

More Coffee and Finger Food again.... That makes 2 coffees on a sunday plus alot of finger food... goodness me... overkill... no wonder i din feel sleepy at night... hahaha..... All the overdose of caffeine makes Lena a happy girl...

Was walking around in Bugis Juntion and Bugis Village...
Got lots of nice clothes and accessories... Good place to shop...
I din get anything... hee hee... must control ma...
Ended up at SLS to take the pricing lists...
In the end, I'm tired, Dyc's tired... must sit down at SLS food court to rest...
Took a light snack... We can't eat the popular Bak Chor Mee at the food court cos we were going to Bedok 85 Market to eat with the girls...
No pics of my food for dinner... but I can remember wat we had...

Took a cab back to Tampines to catch a movie...

Not a bad show... Love story la...A Romance between a human being and a spirit thats not really dead yet...quite an interesting concept and rather sweet... The landscape garden at the end was really really very very nice!!! Too bad it is hard to have that in Singapore unless u live in a big big house... Really Beautiful... :)

Okay... me being so free n bored... I decided to Cook!!!
Went grocery shopping at Cold Storage @ taka and bought stuff to cook dinner...
The outcome... taaaa daaaa.... is Japanese Curry with Chicken Katsu Don...
The taste was.... not bad....
Although the curry no need much skill to cook la... just throw in the Japanese Curry cubes into the water with the ingredients...
But... the Chicken Katsu... at least need some frying skill ok... So must give me some credit...
I need a cookbook... hee....

Went to Bugis to meet Dennis for dinner and to buy his file to put all his certs... wah... he got alot alot of certs... mine so little...
Ate Sakae Sushi there and managed to satisfy my salmon sashimi cravings... wonderful...


Walked from Bugis to Suntec to Marina and ended up at CityLink TCC...










Finally can sit down n chill... My feet hurt again, my bad shoe bite my feet...
First time see Dennis wear so "nice"... Corporate Wear worz... whahahah....
Tink TCC should give me their membership card already... I've been going there alot of times!!!

Luckily exams are only twice a year...
