Met Christine on Friday to go shopping for her shoes… and in the end I bought 2 more skirts and 1 pair of shoes via Linda… we are all so bad for each other… shopping pals that end up spending more and more money… haha…...

Wow... more n more ppl....
Went to the Isetan Private sale on 29 Sept early in the morning cos my mother wanted to get the casio exilim ex-57 which was on a promotional price of $489 limited to 30 sets only.So who has to go and line up early in the morning for her?
Me of course...Luckily even though there was a long queue of ppl in front of me, I managed to get the camera...
Happy me and Happy Lena's mother...
The store opened early probably due to the long lines of ppl waiting eagerly for the doors to be unlocked and shutters to be let up so they could do their shopping sprees...
I quickly zoomed to the Casio counter to get the camera and I got the 6th out of 30 sets...
Goal No. 1 accomplished...
Next stop, went downstairs to find Linda and get our Adidas Original Watches...
She asked if I got my camera and I happily replied yes.. and the lady behind us suddenly craned her neck to see what I got in my casio paper bag and she quickly scanned her Isetan catalogue to see whether she missed out any good deals...
A bit of a surprise for me n Linda... haha...
Goal No. 2 accomplished, we got our watches!!!
After that, can go and look at clothes n other stuff liaoz... The main goals have been reached... You know, the sale is good cos some brands are on sale at like 30% off... including Joop, the box, levis, adidas, nike, mphosis, iora... good right?In the end, before lunch we had scored slippers, tops, skirts... Excellent...
Fueled up energy for more after lunch shopping at Pepper Lunch... and back to shopping...Looked at shoes, bags but surprisingly... we didn't see anything we liked... and so... off to Isetan Orchard we went, for The Face Shop products... they were having 10% off... We got ourselves face masks and the yoghurt pack as well... *clap clap*
Before we ended our shopping, I had bought 2 more pairs of shoes...and clocked a total of a few hundred bucks in that few hours.... *faintz*

Also, Lena + Linda got to eat grass for a few weeks... A la Grass anyone???

:: Cirque Du Soleil - Quidam ::
Sketches @ Bugis Juntion

Had Brunch at Sketches - Bugis before Quidam... The pasta there is not bad, can design-your-own pasta with yr own choice of ingredients, sauce, extra toppings and hungry size or starving size portions... thats quite cute right?
As usual, had linguine with 5 types of ingredients, IIRC its baby clams, ham, sausage, bell peppers, tomatoes and marinara sauce which contains sotongs n prawns... wah.... Plus parmesan chesse topping.... I just realised that my tomato based sauce is super oily!!! Just look at the sausage side dish... so much oil? tsk tsk...
Cirque Du Soleil

Walked over to Quidam after that... and had a look at the stuff they were selling.... It's very expensive... but prices are always like that aren't they? Programs were like $19, cd's for $35 and mugs for $19? Somewhere around that range.... Cool...

Trying to be funny here trying all the hats and masks... U can buy them u know! Waa.... look at the prices.... *faintz*
Went to watch Quidam today in the afternoon, My first time going although Cirque Du Soleil has come to Singapore before. Always wanted to go last time but either didn't have the money as I was a poor student last time or i didn't have the time. Now its different because I prepaid the ticket while I was still working and even though I'm now a poor student, I still get to go!
It was very very hot there... Well, its just like a super professional tentage set up in the middle of somewhere near Bugis Juntion... Alot alot of ppl went there to watch too...
My views on the show :
I found it intriguing, amazing, exciting... Its a new experience and an experience well gained... If they come to Singapore again doing other shows, I'll definitely go back... *standing applause*

Oh well, We kind of spent the entire evening and night sitting down at places eating/drinking/chatting... First Stop : Marche.... Second Stop : TCC @ Cineleisure
After eating quite alot of stuff, and intending to watch movie, but either no suitable show or suitable timing cos we din wan to go home too late... we ended up at TCC... and going home late... oops... Not before scaring ourselves silly first... *eeks*

Only regret was that i din get to eat shangri-la's mooncakes this year... hee....*update* I ate Hagen Diaz Ice Cream mooncake today, the durian type and normal ice cream ones. It tastes okay, but i don't think its worth the money... Its really extravagant!

brunch at billy bombers @ heeren with rachelwoke up sort of late... so much for intending to go for boxercise... sighz... I ruin my dieting plans again... I was meeting Rachel for brunch and i had a craving for fish n chips and so decided to have brunch at billy bombers...
Yes, i couldn't finish my food again... Not the first time, i think every single time I ate at billy bombers, i have food leftover! Its not that its not nice or what, their portions are huge!!! I had 3 pieces for fish with a mountain of chunky fries... plus huge scoop of coleslaw with i hardly touched... In the end, had to give up a piece of fish and lots of fries cos my tummy told me that its full... so sad... Rachel ask me just to eat the fish alone and leave the fries but i was too full to even finish the fish...
We left to go to school and something bad happened!!! Super bad luck thing... Got car kiss rachel's car backside... and the person still so rude and irritating! I was so pissed off the entire day just thinking abt that rude woman trying to shift the blame to us for everything. She think wat? See 2 young girls can bully izzit! U just wait! We know that we weren't in the wrong at all, who ask you to tailgate us! Still blame us say we can't drive and we scratch the car ourselves. If you are not guilty, then why u keep on stammering and shaking? Too scared izzit?

Suki Sushi @ Cineleisure
Once again, we are eating sushi!!! I seriously think I can eat Japanese food everyday... Yummy... Suki Sushi buffet was okay, more of value for money than Sakae Sushi because 1) I can use student price there 2) u can even order stuff like sashimi and premium items up to $4.90 per plate 3) free flow of drinks ... better than sakae rite? Sakae can only eat normal plates, cant eat Sashimi at all, so sad... that's like one of my joys in life, to eat salmon sashimi all the time... *slurpz slurpz*
Long day for me, watched movie early in the morning after eating my Big Breakfast... Yippiez... Then went shopping with christine, linda n dyc... christine needs to get a dress...
I see lots of places on sale... so sad... i just spend lots of money in bangkok... cannot spend as much as i wanted to... must control... so no nice nice skirts... no nice nice tops... *sobz*
We were so full after suki sushi, no need to eat dinner already... thinking of how many cream puffs i ate, i think i seriously need to hit the gym next week more intensively... haha... Bad cream puffs, ruin my diet plans...

:: MIdweek laze... ::

My black pepper chicken set and christine's ban mian for lunch today...Met Christine for lunch today as her class ended quite early today. Actually we wanted to go and eat Sakae Sushi @ Heeren and we did walk all the way there. It was 3pm and the outlet was not crowded and we requested for a booth seat. The waitress told us that the table was reserved from 4pm. Fine... what abt the other tables? Oh, those are long tables for 6-8 persons. Hmmm... u mean we can't sit there meh? Or u can't shift the group that reserved the seat to the long table? Haiz, then we decided that we didn't want to eat there as the staff attitude was damn bad. After we said forget it since no seat, the waitress just said okay... No apology no nothing! They just lost a customer... I've got a bad impression of the Heeren Branch now... In the end we went to cineleisure food court to eat our late lunch... Sat there for quite some time chatting... Then decided to go have coffee and continue our chit-chat session at TCC@ Cineleisure.
Our afternoon tea... The tiramisu look so pretty right? Their cocoa powder free one... There was a super super thick layer on top of the tiramisu... Overkill man...
I also had an Irish Coffee Frappe and Christine had an Ultimate Hazelnut Frappe... My coffee was freaking expensive cos it had Baileys inside. But of course i was freaking happy to drink alcoholic coffee... I am a die hard Baileys fan... I love the drink on the rocks, in coffee and as ice cream. It's just so creamy and lovely! *slurpz*
Guess wat we ate for dinner... Sakae Sushi...But not at Heeren, we ate it @Wheelock place.... It was definitely a much better experience and the managers were so much more customer oriented and friendly. Heeren needs to learn from Wheelock. I always liked Wheelock so much better in terms of the standard of food and service. We all ate so much... Total bill was almost $60... whahaha... time to dig into piggy bank... :)

im not working so not really blue... but the week has just passed by so fast again!
I got to complete my tutorials... i dowan to drag drag drag... Cos i wanna hand in on time. Finally drag myself to the gym today evening. I like the classes led by Azrino. Anyway they are launching Body combat 25 on friday. So fast... i dunno see how many launches already. After checking the schedule, I see that there are going to be body combat classes in the morning for the next 3 days... maybe can go... If i can wake up in time... haha...
Actually there was Boxercise after Body Combat today but i decided against staying on cos it was getting late and I also haven't eat dinner yet... So quickly rush to the locker room n got a shower cubicle before it was too crowded. Lucky me din have to queue, i got the very last shower. Damn, I realised that i was starting to peel! Horrible Sunburn, its peeling! I'm like a snake shedding my skin! *whine*
For a change, i actually watched tv just now, and the 9pm ch8 show is rather interesting leh... Too bad tomm i got class then can't watch, sob sob... I won't know what happen in tomm's show... I must complete 2 tutorials by todae so i can hand in... arrgghhh...

:: another week of updates... ::
What have i been doing since i came back from bangkok???
everyday like go out leh... haha.... no wonder all the stuff i bought is still packed in my strawberry shortcake "china" bag... hee hee...
just after coming back, i went sentosa on wed.
next day, thursday I met linda for lunch at lucky plaza. we ate yong tau foo at a corner food shop, the uncle v cute leh, if u eat dry type rite, n u dowan chili, he call the sweet sauce "chocolate sauce".

It was not bad, nice n tasty and a reasonable price. Both me n linda were so hungry we finished up every thing. Actually after lunch we wanted to go to the Orchard Library to study, but as predicted it was really really crowded again, and so we decided to go to coffee club at wisma. Seems like got quite alot of O level student studying there too. I noticed the staff actually told like a girl that studying was not allowed but then he didnt chase us away leh... hmmm...
Me n linda stare at our books until so sleepy lorz... i spotted her dozing off.... n i think she spotted me dozing off also... oops... so much for studying right... when we went off to school, we were both dozing off in the bus also... too tired liaoz worz....
Friday met christine, dyc and del del for lunch at Marche cos i got a 30 dollar voucher... hee hee.... i so good right? share with them leh... hahahah.... we ate alot worz.... rosti, crepe, wedges, chicken breast, calamari, sting ray and my fav bundeburg root beer... so full, we couldnt even eat dessert... so wasted hor.. hahah.... dunno who suggested watching the cave after that leh.... kns... me n christine were hiding under our cardigans/shawls when the gross monsters were like preying on the humans.... after watching this, my fear of drowning and dying inside the water is even more induced.... whahhah.... no water sports for me hor.... please please.....
sat go class as usual and almost fell asleep in class... discovered that a long long acquaintance was sitting behind me and we are in the same boat just that i think maybe he is a little bit worse off. Hope he dun run away worz... he take my notes to zap.... haha... he MIA i die liaoz....
met the rest for dinner at city hall, we walked thru citylink and what did i discover!? adidas got 15% off!!! i bought a cap cos it was cheap... haha....

My new cap!!! Damn i look weird here...in the end we ate at thai express and all of us except miss nio ate pahd thai... not bad... but i had like ALOT of sotong lorz... kaoz... i becoming sotong le la... sob sob... cannot scold me blur... not my fault worz.... i ate alot of sotongz.... i felt that dinner was a rather sombre affair and there were a few ... moments that made things a little little weird... oh well.... xianz....

Pre-flight Dinner
Met christine n linda n dyc n dyc's sister at the airport for dinner after we check-in our luggage and got our boarding pass... Went to a Thai Restaurant at T2 to have our dinner cos dyc's sister is working there... The food not bad... We had quite alot of food, Pineapple Fried Rice, Pahd Thai, Green Curry, Red Curry, KangKong and Glutinous Rice with Mango..

At the departure hall...
Running through Departure HallEverything seems normal right?
No lorz... Due to some confusion or blurness, we only went to the departure hall 5 mins before the gates closed. Nevermind that the gates closed, we went to the wrong gate first and by the time we realised this mistake, the correct gate was closed... Oh NO... We missed our flight!
Quickly went to transfer B if im not wrong, this is where u change yr flight details or catch a next flight... The uncle who attended to us was quite pissed off that he was sort of scolding us but yet he still helped us.... Really grateful la... although he still say us... I think he just can't believe how we can miss our flight... actually i also cant believe that we missed the flight lorz... luckily there was a flight to Narita with transit at bangkok... Normally that flight goes directly to Japan with no stopover at all. He offered us that flight but of course without our luggage cos dunno where our luggage go already... sob sob... by the time we got the new boarding pass, we had to run all the way to the gate cos it was going to close soon also... Guess what, in the end the gate that we eventually went to was the one that we intially went to... xianz...
Luckily we flew SIA, and he also waived the no show fee for us... $150 leh... If it was a budget airline and we missed the flight, i think we got to buy a new air ticket...
Finally got our FlightFinally got on the plane, a nice big big plane... we sat at the aisle seat, even though the lady asked us whether we wanted the window seat, we already too paiseh to request that so we said anything. We were served supper on the plane which was not bad, quite impressed even though it was such a short flight.
Touched down at bangkok quite late, we still had to tell the bangkok side that we need to request for our luggage cos dunno where our luggage fly to already. One of the really lucky thing is that they told us they will send the luggage to the hotel and need not come back to the airport to collect.
We discovered a 7-11 at the airport and was really happy cos we had no luggage ma, got to buy toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, facial wash everything there ma. Before even leaving the airport, we spend about 200thb liaoz... got to the hotel by taxi which was 300thb. so tired liaoz... but happy to reach the hotel safe and sound.
Reached the HotelAnother turn of events, because the hotel was fully booked, we got a free upgrade to a deluxe room which was really quite nice.
Second turn of events, there were bath robes in the hotel bathroom! Delighted cos no need to sleep in t shirt and jeans.... haha... went to sleep in preparation for shopping the next day.
Day One of Shopping
Breakfast @ the hotel...Woke up rather early the next morning, after dilly-dally the whole morning, we went down to the cafe to eat breakfast. It was quite okay, they had usual buffet breakfast items like juices, toast, fried rice, sausages, bacon, eggs, fruits, salad...
Oh, the airport also called to say that our luggage will arrive in Bangkok in the morning and will be sent to the hotel. Yippie! I can't wait to see my luggage again.
First stop, we went to MBK by tuk tuk, of cos midway he asked us to see some jewelry factory so he can get free gas, Since it was still quite early and MBK wasn't really opened yet, we obliged to do him a favour. MBK was big!
we walked around to explore, and also walked to hard rock cafe to buy some t-shirts. Had a hard time looking for it cos we kept on walking past it and missing it. That area was quite nice, alot of trendy looking shops and the area was really bustling. In the end we found HRC cos we asked a passerby. This passerby was really really pretty! But the voice.... hmm... a guys voice... but i was really amazed cos she was really pretty! even up to now i still cant believe it... so impressed! Got our HRC loot and we went off the take a BTS skytrain to Mo Chit. That's were Chatuchak Weekend Market was... the market is so so huge... we keep on walking and walking... everywhere looks similar... Dyc still say the market not very big, the min he said that, we got kind of lost and ended up walking through stretches we hadn't been to. But its ok la, we managed to find some nice accessories there. It was nearing 6pm and we were tired, wanted to go back to MBK to eat dinner. So we walk walk trying to find the exit, suddenly got an announcement in thai, i was thinking maybe its national anthem, dyc also thought so, then they really broadcast the national anthem and everyone just stopped in their steps to stand in attention. We did so too... Interesting experience.
Took the skytrain back to MBK for dinner...



Zen Japanese Restaurant @ MBKDay Two of Shopping2nd day, we walked around to explore, walked around pratunam and even found ourselves at pantip plaza... the so called sim lim square of bangkok... There's an A&W there and i got to drink the root beer float.. so happie...

In the end it started to rain and we found ourselves in a cab to MBK again... haha... We also walked from MBK to Siam Discovery Centre and Isetan... walked alot... bought more stuff... so happy... Got levi's at Isetan there, but we decided to re-evaluate our expenses before deciding on whether to buy levi's or not. It's really cheap there, so if wan to go bangkok can buy levis and also undergarments!
Had a mid-evening rest at a cafe at Zen shopping, its called Black Canyon Coffee... Not bad... and very cheap too...

Not bad coffee and dyc's fav food, Pahd Thai...Hop on the cab back to hotel cos tired after whole day of shopping again... After unpacking our loot, resting, went to Patpong to look at the nightlife there. The night market was also quite fun, and can bargain... haha... i saw many nice lantern style lamps... so nice... wanted to buy... but must resist... haha.... went back to hotel to zzz after that... still got 1 more day of shopping to go.
Day Three of Shopping3rd day, went to pratunam.. discovered alot of wholesale stuff there.... not a bad place to shop... its actually quite big... can walk until a bit lost... we also went to chinatown but we dunno where to walk, we got quite lost... went back to MBK again!!! Ate Zen jap rest for lunch... our second time there... dyc really like the food there... haha... Finally got our levi's jeans, bought more accessories, dyc finally bought some t shirts, bought the earring stands, walked back to the hotel. Bathe and rest, and went patpong again! We ate KFC at Patpong, fast food again? haha...

KFC! Someone so hungry...Actually I think i quite like Patpong leh... very interesting ma... the night market also nice... got big big watsons there also... n got food to eat... things to see, ppl trying to ask us to see tiger show... haha... last night in bkk liaoz... must go back to hotel to pack... early morning must wake up to go airport.
Last Day in Bangkok, Going back to SingaporeLast day in bkk, woke up early and ate breakfast, collected our luggage and took the hotel limo to the airport. We didnt want to risk taking a taxi cos we saw there was a jam outside the hotel and we also dowan to try to take taxi, so just spend the money to take the limo to airport.
Checked in real early, our luggage was check in and was 5kg heavier each than what we originally checked in. plus 7kg of hand luggage... haha.... no wonder we were broke, spend too much le... nothing to do at the airport leh... walked around the duty free also no money to spend... haha... went to sit at the boarding gate. We will not miss the flight again...
Someone sleeping again....
I must entertain myself...I spent most of the time in the plane sleeping after eating airplane lunch... so sleepy.... Reach back sg around 2++. Went home catch a short 15 min nap... out of the house again for dinner... still havent unpack... oh no... haha...
I love bangkok... I definitely want to go again! and shop more spend more boost thailands economy... hahahahah
