The steak is not bad.... so is that hamburger...
Its a Japanese Restaurant which serves their meat n veggies on a hot plate. And all u got to do is fry yr meat n veggies yrself and yr meal is all done!
It's yummy!! But cant eat it too often, its quite meaty and the butter n sauces are so nice.... so buttery n salty... haha....
There's one outlet at Ngee Ann City, and one due to be opening at Isetan Scotts Basement (where the KFC used to be)

crystal jade macau restaurant

Went there last week to try out the food. As usual, like all other crystal jade outlets, it was crowded...
I can say the food was not bad, but i didn't try the pork chop bun...
But i did try 2 of the "zhao1 pai2 cai4".
I don't mind going there again....



this is the macaroni soup with pork chop n luncheon meat n egg that i had. The soup was quite tasty and I was qutie happy with it.


The pumpkin seafood soup. Seafood was fresh and the pumpkin had quite a nice texture. Quite interesting as well.


This is the fried tofu with salt n spices. Its crispy n quite okay.


Some mashed potato thats being made into a ball and fried. It was okay to me, but it had a faint belachan taste to it. hmmm..

:: memories... ::

Friendster is soooo slow.... so while i'm waiting for the page to load so I can reply to my PM, here I am blogging...
Well, the speed is probably due to my contribution from downloading... oh well...

Anyway, back to my topic of memories...
Have any of u ever kept a diary, or wrote letters, or notes to a pen-pal or maybe to a classmate, schoolmate? Well... I did.
I wrote in a "diary" when i was in sec school and i did write notes n letters to my juniors n my classmate that was in another class.
I chanced upon it just now when i was clearing my humongous mess of paper mountains in my room. And yes, as i clear i look at what im keeping or throwing away...
There were letters to a particular friend that sad to say I do not even keep in contact with anymore and that we were not even on talking terms when we graduated. She was my really good friend at one point of time and we were always together during weekends. I wonder how she is and hope that she does not blame me for souring our friendship. As teenagers, you should know how childish and how silly we could be. Making a huge fuss out of nothing at all. I just hope that she's doing well and wishing her good luck in all her future endeavours.

I didn't write in a diary reguarly, and as you can see I do not blog daily either and I do it on a need to do basis. I blog when I get the inspiration to or when I'm full of bursting "emotions"...
I was reading my "diary" that I confided in as a teenager. Although the entries were not over a long period of time, When i look back, I do feel so silly n childish but yet so innocent and gullible at the same time. I wrote abt my crushes and abt a boyfriend that I had. But being such a young teenager, Did I really know abt love? Abt what I felt for him and what he felt for me? Did he really love me? Did I really love him? I see the words scribbled everywhere on entried abt him that I loved him. But what did i know then? Then again, it was fun being young, indulging in puppy love, making new friends with boys from other boys schools. It was a good memory.
It's these memories that make me feel that teenage life wasn't that bad after all.

went to watch this show todae cos miss nio wanted to. Well, i can say its not a really bad show and there are lots of special effects. Well, at least i just paid $7... *stingy laugh*
Back to the movie, it really makes u sort of think twice abt life itself. Like hw much ppl are willing to do just to prolong life or just to live. And sometimes it seems selfish too... Oh Well... watch it for yrself to know what the whole movies abt. Backgound of the show is simply 2 ppl who live in a containment unit find out the truth of THE ISLAND which is a total fraud and the whole show is sort of about them trying to escape and save the rest.

Why are buildings like so lavish and nice???
I went for an interview at Capital Tower for a Japanese Corporate Bank...
Seems like all the companies located in the building all rather established and big and well known... Nice lorz... Got benches outside the building for u to sit there, relax, smoke, sleep...
Got Huge koi pond for u to go fishing.... got nice nice fountain.... haha...

Go Harry Potter!!!




My long awaited Harry Potter. I din line up to get it cos I pre-ordered it online. So I also didn't have to be like the other Kiasu Singaporeans who needed to line up at the bookstores at 5.30pm the previous day just to get their book. Lucky me, I woke up to the doorbell ringing and there the postman was with my Harry Potter @ 10.30am!!! Happiness....

:: PCK the Musical 18 June 2005 ::

PCK, dun pray pray ah...

Supposedly quite a large musical with huge budget. It was quite okay larz... Only that I must say that some Singaporeans are damn inconsiderate! Why do they all stroll in to the stadium late, NOT off their handphones, FIDGET in their seats every 10 seconds, TALK loudly when the musical is in progress... UGLY!!!

Well, had free tickets courtesy of Miss Nio... So I went to watch it with her... It was the 2nd most expensive tickets, But we sat quite far away from the stage, angled at quite a rather weird position too. BUT i didn't fidget in my seat ok! Although i squinted to see who was performing, I quite enjoyed myself.

During the intermission, as usual i was bored and started playing wif my camera phone... I am so Free man....

It was quite a simple story, or rather, plot.
PCK's bdae is approaching and he tries to hint to his family. His family pretends to ignore him but is actually planning a surprise party. Evil Frankie Foo tries to cheat him of his entire company, house, possessions, wife. Well, he does succeed, and with some stupid twist of fate Frankie Foo has a heart attack, PCK saves him. Frankie Foo feels guilty and gives PCK back his possessions. PCK lives happily ever after... Of course got alot of other weird stuff in between the story, but its quite ok.

this is sortof cafe that took over cafe cartel in mohd. sultan... so me n raymond finally decide to try it out one day before we went drinking. It's EXPENSIVE! But i think the food portion is rather generous and its quite yummy.. By the time i was halfway through my fishy n chips, there were like a litter of cats all around us. All of the kitties eyeing my fishy...

There's a food festival going on @ taka, and the minute we saw ppl holding fruity ice, we went ballistic and started searching for the stall. It was yummy, n rick "suan" us cos everyone eat small bowl but we share a BIG bowl... haha..

i'm one of them... feel so lazy ever since i've stepped into unemployment... *evil laugh*
this is my third week of "nuaing"
1st week went Genting, 2nd week nua, 3rd week nua, more nuaing to come...

its gonna be wed tomm... so we are going club momo...
watched war of the worlds on mon, watched alot like love todae...
it feels good to pay $7 for movies! good compared to $9.50...
but of cos can't be compared to the $10 ringgit in Malaysia.

i've one quite alot of stuff after my last day... stuff i needed to do but just drag drag drag...
but then again... my room is still in a mess... ok i did some of the stuff but not all.
I settled my e-savers ac, closed my other bank acs, went to the gym, watched movies, went clubbing, went for a holiday, revamp my resume, tidied up my messy files on my com, went sentosa sun-tan.
I miss my colleagues, miss the income, miss the mindless work, miss hw time just flew past.
But i'm happy... Not so many unhappy feelings n unhappy thoughts clouding my mind...

i'll upload some genting pics soon, when i get around to compressing my files...
cos the current pics are quite huge, i guess thats quite common when we take pics using the highest resolution with 5MP.
There's a new Casio camera thats super slim, 5MP too, looks really really good. But it's also qutie expensive and not water resistant. But its really really such a babe man...

Maybe i can get it if i get a temp job... *pretty camera on my mind*
Its time to start the conservation of funds for my wild desires... whahaha
