econs stuff

in the midst of studying of exams... i realise that as u get older, its harder to get the brain juice flowing!!! read the text like ten times but the words are somesort floating in the mind, not yet processed. Time take for the words to be formed into logical sentences and then get processed into logical paragraphs take a truly long freaking time. By the time i finally understand wat it means, i feel so tired.

Damn international trade. Full of International economics.
So much for econs being interesting.
It's dry when all the text refers to is wheat and cloth in the taiwan and aussie market.
Aussie is labour abundunt and Taiwan is capital abundunt.
Wheat is a labour intensive product and cloth is a capital intensive product.
Each country should speciallise in the product in which they have comparative advantage.
A country may have absolute advantage in both products but they can only have comparative advantage in one product. With the introduction of a tariff / subsidy. Which one is better? Which one will cause more loss to the economy as a whole? Which one will cause labour cost to increase but the marginal product of labour to decrease. Yawnz..

ate this yesterdae for breakfast... quite alot for breakfast... so it sort of became brunch in the end. Yummy ham n eggs with crispy hashbrown with aromatic cappuccino to start of the sundae. :)

:: rainy again... ::

yeah... it rained again todae, and yesterday and like almost everyday.
had to run into the hdb blocks cos the path beside the main road to the bus-stop no covered walkway. Luckily i din wait for long before the bus came. Actually want to do some window shopping, but the rain already dampened the mood. So in the end I just went to Isetan Scotts to visit Fancl cos my vitamins running out already. I also redeemed by $80 Fancl Voucher and used $40 on my Fruits n Vegetables Supplements n I bought Vitamin E too. Hope it enhances my complexion or something. Quite happy cos I paid like $6+ after the 2% Isetan Card discount. Got issued a new Fancl card so can buy stuff there again. :)

I was e-filing my income tax just now but the webbie is really really laggy. Worse of all, when i was just abt to be done, the webby refused to load. Arrgh... Got to try again tomm I guess... That sucks. Got to go for some deposits briefing tomm at Tampines, sighz... so farrrr away...
somemore its from 6.30 to 8pm and all I get for that "OT" is 20 bucks.

Worst of all, after hearing other FI getting bonuses of like min 2mths and even up to 2.75 mths including Local FI's okay, we all thought we would get a min of maybe 2mths. So much for being in line with the industry standards. I'm like only getting a pathetic 1.25 mth variable bonus. Sob Sob... Of course its better than last years, but but... how to compare to other local FI's???
Oh well... so much for slogging yr asses off for such a co. Must look for other new sources of employment n income!

:: dinner @ sushi tei ::

jappie dinner

in view of getting my sushi tei JCB card... n getting the $10 vouchers for a few different locations... me n raymond went to Paragon Sushi Tei for dinner todae...
it wasn't v v crowded... so its good... not noisy... got service... tea gets refilled frequently...
we ate salmon don, sake sushi, ebi tempura sushi, some fried thingy, garlic fried rice, potato salad n tamago gunkan.
surprisingly, the bill came up to $30, then still less 10% n minus $10 cos of the voucher.
in the end paid just $20....
eat so much somemore.... yum yum....
i still got alot alot of $10 vouchers....
:) can eat more sushi tei !!!

this is sort of a good fridae chalet thingy since 25 was a public holidae, and i fought to maintain my off days on the last week of march so i could be at my chalet. So on thurs, after lecture as usual, wat a killjoy rite? Raymond came to pick me n fang fang from SIM and we picked Linda up from her home and we trooped off to the chalet. Rick came later and we were all starving, cos we never bring anything. We waited for the saviours of the nite, Christine n Guiliang to arrive with tidbits n drinks... haha.... We all slept quite late cos as usual, we were watching tv, chit chatting, and who sleeps early at a chalet anyway. By the time i feel asleep.. left few hrs before breakfast liaoz...

fridae
all of us woke up ard 9++ with the exception of rick cos he went home "early" in the morning. So the six of us went to mac to eat bfast, cos fang fang craving for mac big breakfast since the previous nite. Then me, raymond, linda, fang went off to get the food for the bbq. Christine n Guiliang went back home first cos christines sister was sick.
We stopped by my house first, collect the wire mesh, tongs, bbq stuff then we decided to go to Carrefour at P.S.
Before we even reached Carrefour, we kena ambushed by those financial planners, asking us to sit down n listen to their plans, stuff like that...
We still made it to Carrefour la... haha.... and we went ard buying lots n lots of stuff... :)
Wanted to get stingray, but seems no stock or something, in the end the friendly auntie recommended this fish called Leather Jacket which was quite nice after all.
Went to collect the satay n otah after our grocery shopping, and the smell of the otah was so nice, we were starting to get hungry...
okay, and here we are back at the chalet, after lugging all the food n stuff from the car, worse of all, the chalet was like quite far in... after carrying all the food, we got muscles alreadi.
Marinated all the food in the toilet... shh.... dont tell everyone... but no other place to marinate the stuff wat... but the chicken wings taste quite nice rite? no one complain leh...
after all the preparation, we all felt tired, everyone fell asleep...
Me? i was waiting for the guys to come n start fire...
cos the only guy in the chalet was sleeping...
luckily ard dinner time... like 6plus... rick n yucong came to save the day...
yen yen n bf came later, delphine n bf also came v late... cos deldel's bros bdae that day...
n irene finally came... after her fishing...
raymonds parents also came later to help eat the food....

sat
pretty much the same.... everyone woke up late.... cos we stayed up to gossip all nite...
ate cup noodles for lunch n then ran off to go to school cos i had class from 2-5pm...
in the end the lecture ended early so i managed to come back in time to see the fire sort of almost set up finish alreadi...
we sort of ended up with too much food... cos raymond, rick n irene went shopping for food at pasir ris ntuc, apparently they overbought stuff... like chicken nuggets, hot dogs, taiwanese sausage, pork chop, chicken fillet, ham!!! heng in the end just left 1 small tray of cooked food, still can bring home...
cos we ended up playing games with the loser eating nuggets, and another drinking 1 cup of drinks cos we din wan to bring back like 5 bottles of drinks!

left me, raymond n irene only liaoz...
went eat mac bfast again after checking out...
sent irene home... me n raymond went back tampines...
n zzzzz till afternoon....
aftermath of chalet... sleepy....

fun... but tiring....
had fun seeing all u guys again... :)
